Director’s Statement-
I am fascinated with the way conventions in movie making have become a part of the contemporary cultural storytelling mechanism. My work celebrates the fantastical and the possible, and is dedicated to giving voice to the dreamers lost in the new American landscape. I believe that my work is infused with a naturalist aesthetic, which enables the viewer to gather strength and inspiration. I believe I am part of a new wave of filmmakers who utilize the writing processes of the realist novel, the technological freedom of digital video, and the raw content of early 60’s garage music in creating films that meld individual vision with cultural significance.
